Doctoral Researcher (f/m/d, 75 %) in Environmental and Climate Economics

The main focus of your activities at ZEW will be to conduct scientific research in environmental, climate, and public economics and work on demanding economic policy advising projects. Applicants should have a strong interest to study the economics of climate change mitigation and to conduct economic assessments of climate and energy policy using a quantitative and empirical approach drawing on numerical economic modelling and simulations techniques.

Candidates should have completed a Master´s degree (or equivalent) in economics, mathematics (preferably with a minor in economics) or related academic fields with a good/very good grade. Very good quantitative and writing skills are essential. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. German language skills are an asset. Capacity for teamwork is essential.
